I would only update when it is absolutely necessary. I have the x-108G outdoor with the original firmware and it works well so

Hi...thank you for the response to my query.. Well I do not have the original firmware and the current one only partially works,, so would like to try some others.. Steven of Xiegu did email me with the latest version of the indoor model firmware, but that did not seem to work,...so the search goes on....Thank youfor the use of your web page..its been very interesting and useful to see other comments with their X108.. Wonder what batch mine would belong to ?? the serial number on mine 0013...Is it first batch or second batch ?? would like to know this ??

The original firmware-file I have not. I have back up the original bin file, which is saved in the x108g - but you can do nothing with it. You need the xgf file. This is the firmware file for the x108g.
so, what to do? Check exactly your seriel no and search for the appropriate update. You can find a description here ...
